On April 15th, a joint meeting was held among Ganjiang New Area, Nanchang City and Jiujiang City. Li Hongjun, Secretary of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Ganjiang New Area, presided over the meeting. Relevant responsible officials from Jiangxi Development and Reform Commission attended the meeting to offer guidance. Jiang Wenting, Mayor of Jiujiang City, Wang Wanzheng, Director of the Administrative Committee of Ganjiang New Area, Zeng Ming, a member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Ganjiang New Area, Zhao Jie, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Nanchang City, Bao Chenggeng, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jiujiang Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Jiujiang City, and others attended.
At the meeting, Ganjiang New Area, Nanchang City and Jiujiang City respectively reported on the progress of the matters studied at the previous joint meeting and responded to the matters that needed to be coordinated and resolved. The meeting fully affirmed the achievements made in promoting regional coordinated development through the joint efforts of Ganjiang New Area, Nanchang City and Jiujiang City. The meeting pointed out that since the establishment and operation of the joint meeting mechanism among Ganjiang New Area, Nanchang City and Jiujiang City, the three regions have focused on key issues of regional coordinated development, strengthened overall coordination and collaborative cooperation, and tackled one matter after another, promoting more convenient and efficient regional commuting, closer and deeper industrial collaboration, more inclusive and convenient public services, and deeper integration of culture, tourism, sports and business. Regional coordinated development is advancing to a higher level, broader fields and deeper dimensions.
