To better serve the tourism development of “Ecological Meiling” and the travel of the public, since the beginning of this year, the Wanli Administration Bureau has closely followed the development strategy of “Ecological Meiling, Happy Wanli”, and with the optimization of the road network and digital empowerment as the dual engines, initiated a new round of service upgrades and accelerated the pace of “bringing mountains into the city”.
Since the beginning of this year, Wanli has been fully committed to promoting the implementation of the results of the optimization and adjustment of the provincial road network layout, puts emphasis on completing the signing of traffic maintenance agreements, the handover and maintenance of routes, and the update of signs and plaques along the routes. These measures will achieve the functional separation of internal roads in the scenic area from important distribution roads, optimize the road network structure, and release more space for the tourism development of “Ecological Meiling”. At the same time, efforts should be made to maintain the important distribution roads connecting scenic spots and towns, laying a solid foundation for the upgrading and transformation of the road network.
