To further promote the construction, operation and management of intangible cultural heritage workshops in our city, cultivate the intangible cultural heritage brand of Nanchang, and contribute to rural revitalization, the list of intangible cultural heritage workshops in Nanchang for 2026 was recently announced.
A total of 22 new intangible cultural heritage workshops have been added in the city this time, featuring a rich variety and distinct characteristics. Among them are the Nanchang Yuzhang Gan Embroidery Intangible Cultural Heritage Workshop, the Yuhonggang Tujiangjun Plaster Making Technique Intangible Cultural Heritage Workshop, the Sanjiang Radish and Pickled Vegetable Making Technique Intangible Cultural Heritage Workshop, and the Nanxin Bamboo Reed Carving Intangible Cultural Heritage Workshop, covering multiple fields such as traditional embroidery, ancient medicine, characteristic agricultural product processing, and traditional carving. It fully demonstrates the rich and diverse rural cultural features of Nanchang.
In recent years, our city has continuously advanced the standardized construction, refined operation and regular management of intangible cultural heritage workshops, deeply explored representative projects of local intangible cultural heritage, and promoted the innovative development of traditional handicrafts. A large number of down-to-earth and distinctive intangible cultural heritage workshops have been put into operation. They not only effectively protect and pass on various intangible cultural heritage skills in Nanchang, but also build a high-quality platform for local people to find employment and increase their income nearby, effectively promoting employment and stable income growth for villagers at their doorstep.
